Helping women walk boldly into recovery, stability, and purpose.

Women Walking in Purpose is building a safe, supportive sober and transitional living program for women rebuilding their lives.

Our mission

More than housing—a foundation for a new beginning.

Women Walking in Purpose is a Black-led, faith-based nonprofit dedicated to creating safe, supportive sober and transitional living for women rebuilding their lives. We empower women—especially those in underserved Black communities—through recovery support, spiritual development, life-skills training, employment assistance, and connections to resources that promote stability and independence.

How we plan to serve

Whole-person support for the journey forward.

01

Safe, sober living

A peaceful, structured home environment designed to help women rebuild with dignity.

02

Faith & recovery support

Prayer, Bible study, accountability, and encouragement rooted in hope and purpose.

03

Pathways to independence

Life-skills development, employment support, community resources, and healthy routines.

The vision

A home filled with structure, sisterhood, prayer, and possibility.

Our vision includes shared meals, daily encouragement, recovery accountability, job-search support, community outings, and a welcoming environment where women can rediscover confidence and their God-given purpose.

Founding stage

We are building the foundation.

Women Walking in Purpose is currently developing partnerships, pursuing funding, and preparing for a future Jackson-area home. We are not yet accepting residents.

Walk with us

Purpose grows through partnership.

We welcome conversations with churches, community organizations, recovery partners, funders, and supporters who believe women deserve a safe path forward.
